My legs are getting tired...

Yikes!

Elijah can only stand a few minutes at a time. And, nope, he's not getting into the standing position on his own yet. I stood him up against the couch to give him something to look at and was surprised to see just how strong his legs are. ~Nasreen

A New Seat

Elijah just got his new high chair. He loves being up that high. He's got a long way to go, though, before his feet will reach the foot rest. The chair's colors are a bit wild, but it converts to a toddler table and chair in a snap, which is pretty cool.

Elijah has been SO ACTIVE! He's such a boy. I used to wonder how much could actually be attributed to social conditioning, but it's pretty obvious he's got that Y chromosome! He's got that vigorous energy I remember my brothers having. Oh, and he loves to laugh...deep, hearty laughs and loud squeals, mixed in with lots of giggling. ~Nasreen

How appropriate that Elijah learned to sit up by himself on Independence Day...


Here he is showing off his skills with two fun new friends, Owen & Tiegan...

He only sits if we put him in that position. But soon enough, he'll be pulling himself up to sit.
