Someone's Trigger Happy

He's free! Free of that swaddle, that is. Elijah is becoming more and more active every day. Here are a few action shots. (Obviously, I've become extremely trigger happy.) ~Nasreen

To Sleep or Not to Sleep

This is what Elijah has been up to these days...mostly asleep, but occasionally wide awake. We love having those big eyes staring up at us. The two pictures with him awake were taken just after he got done staring at our Christmas tree and listening to a Christmas song. He really enjoyed that. And yes, he insists on being swaddled, in case you've noticed. : ) ~Nasreen

Lots of Visitors

Elijah is exactly two weeks old today. Rob and I have fallen into a nice rhythm already with him. He only cries when he's hungry or needs a diaper change. Simple as that. He sleeps a lot, but this week he's become very alert at certain times of the day. We'll catch him looking around trying to soak up his surroundings. His first week home was filled with lots of hugs and kisses from family and friends dropping by for a visit. Elijah is looking forward to the next round of visitors, especially as Uncle Nisar and Grandma Jean & Grandpa Lou arrive next week! And things will be complete once Uncle Nadir arrives in a few weeks! Can't wait... ~Nasreen

Doing Well at Home

Everything is going real well with Elijah since he got home. He saw the pediatrician yesterday and she said he looks healthy and happy to her. He has been occupying his day by sleeping, eating, and filling his diaper consistently. Friends and family have been stopping by and it is so nice to see everyone again on such a happy occasion. ~Rob
