Hawaii Photo Album - Part I

Hawaii Photo Album - Part II

We got back from our trip to Hawaii yesterday and I'm still on Hawaii time, so that explains why I'm up blogging at 2 o'clock in the morning. Obviously, I'm not thinking clearly because I see that I've posted way too many pictures (hence the title, "photo album.")

Well, Elijah has been very busy trying to amaze us. He's totally different from the day we left for Hawaii to the day we got back. He's got his top two teeth in now and he's become VERY mobile. He crawls, stops and sits, crawls, stops and sits--continuously. He climbs to a standing position, which is especially cute when he wakes from his nap and we find him standing in his crib waiting for us to come get him out. And he's now climbing stairs! We're baby-proofing like crazy--there are danger zones I didn't even think of--and we have to watch him like a hawk now. The best is when he reaches the top of the stairs (14 in all) for the third time in a row and looks back at us so proudly. Here's one of those proud moments--this next picture is from the first time he stood up in the crib while on our trip.

Elijah turns ONE tomorrow!! Here is his first birthday present from Grandma Jean and Grandpa Lou. Just received it from Florida today and he LOVES it! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!

Brusha, Brusha

Elijah is so proud of all the things he can do himself, like brushing his teeth, feeding himself, and drinking from a cup. He's been crawling like crazy and pulling up to a sitting and sometimes standing position. We're in for a crazy ride! It's so exciting. How do babies just all of sudden do these things? It's like pure magic. ~Nasreen

Happy Halloween

Instead of BOO, Elijah preferred BUZZ...

Elijah went trick or treating with his cousins Sabina and Nadia.

I love the red eye effect in the next picture...makes her look possessed. Maybe she is, judging by Elijah's expression! ; )

Let's get a close-up on that one...oooooooohhhh.

Here are a couple especially for the grandmas. As they know, Elijah sucks his fingers as soon as he sees a blanket. It's the way he puts himself to sleep every night and every nap time. I can just hear the grandmas "aaaw"ing. : )
