Like Father, Like Son

Since the day he was born, people kept saying Elijah looks just like his Papa. But I just couldn't see it...until now, that is. Yeah, the resemblance is almost freakish. ; ) ~Nasreen

A Great Friend

We lost a great friend yesterday. Jake passed away from cancer. We shared so many happy times together. He was the utmost companion and was always glad to see you. His warmth was infectious. He touched so many people with his constant unconditional love. No matter his age, he always acted like a puppy ready to play whenever people came over. If Jake taught us anything, it was that love, friendship, and youthful exuberance are the secrets to a happy life. We want to thank everyone for being so kind to Jake over the years. We will miss him for the rest of our lives.

See, now I really know where that expression, "what a baby," comes from. Just look at that major pout! When Elijah doesn't get his way, watch out. He'll knock you out with that bottom lip of his. He's been doing this since the day he was born. Unfortunately for him, we just laugh and try to make him do it again for more laughs. Poor baby. ~Nasreen
