Eight Months Overdue

Where to begin? Well, I have a new computer that'll actually upload photos from my camera. So I'll just pick up where we last left off. It was April in New Orleans, Elijah's second trip to the city. This year we discovered the greatest music festival ever: The French Quarter Fest. To us, it beats out Jazz Fest by a landslide. No Dave Matthews or Bon Jovi (for heaven's sake, how's that jazz?) Only authentic jazz musicians, stationed in about 17 locations throughout the French Quarter, along with mouthwatering food served up by the city's best chefs. It equated with a daily stroll through heaven. Speaking of heavenly strolls, Elijah discovered Story Land, a little off the beaten path in New Orleans' City Park:

Earlier this summer, Elijah finished off a year of tumbling class:

Another summer spent at Crystal Lake's main beach:
A lot of train rides this year (and his favorite chocolate granola bars):
Taste of Chicago, 2009 (Uncle Nadir was in town!):

A special visit from sweet and sassy cousin Zoe:

At a Cubs game:

A normal day involves some serious dress-up:
A few photos from time spent with his best bud, Tyler (oops, forgot to upload one from their first Cubs game together. Next time.)

Elijah loves Downtown Chicago:

Not sure what inspired this one (tune in next week for more vogue):

Trying his hand at miniature golf. We learned he's quite competitive:

A trip to Salzburg, Austria, in October:

This is their zoo. Set against the Alps. Ridiculous:

And a trip to Vienna:

Halloween was a swashbucklin' good time:

The Pirates of Penzance?

Happy Fall Everyone!!
